How to make feeding your baby at night easier

Decorate your or your child's bedroom.
Obviously, keeping your baby in your bedroom will make nighttime feedings easier, but whether it's yours or his, skip:

The muslin
Feeding pillow
Nappies
Anoints.
clean bed
Clean clothes
A glass of water for you
"If you're breastfeeding, wear nightgowns that are comfortable for feeding," says Sam.Also, don't forget to use a nightlight as this will stop you and your baby waking up fully, and your partner if you're feeding in the same room.

Prepare feeds as much as you can
It's much easier to feed at night if you're breastfeeding. But if you do happen to be using a bottle at night prepare your steriliser before you go to bed, and have everything laid out ready to go on the kitchen worktop to save yourself some valuable sleep time.
Breastfeed your baby right away.
If you believe your baby is crying because of hunger, it's a good idea to feed him right away. "If he cries for too long before you offer him food, he may gas himself up which will make feeding difficult," says Sam. "He may be too tired or upset to take a full feed and then wake up sooner than if you fed him earlier."

Share nighttime feedings with your partner.
If you're bottle-feeding, make sure your partner shares an equal share of getting up responsibilities. "It's actually better to have a one-night, one-night vacation than a couple of long stretches," advises Sam. After being on night duty for three nights, it's easy to get one night's sleep at a time.More like this

"Ask your partner to give your baby the last feed before bed when it's your turn to do the night shift as you can then go to sleep earlier and have a longer sleep before waking up for the next feed," says Sam. added. .

Sleep when you can!
"Don't try to lie in bed waiting for your baby to wake up because you know it's only a matter of time," says Sam. "Instead teach yourself to fall asleep the moment it settles." The key to doing this is going to bed feeling relaxed, so whether it's a bath, a warm drink or a shoulder rub from your partner that helps you switch off, every night from hitting the sack. Try first.

Couple have baby in car on the way to the hospital, with dispatcher’s help

Evansville, Ind. (WFIE/Gray News) - While some people decide to have a baby in a hospital versus at home, this couple ended up having their baby somewhere in between.

Christina and Zachary Pruitt said they and their families are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter, Brianne Lane. They said that the pregnancy was going well and there were no problems. She was actually asking me, 'Hey, should we go to the hospital from here, or should we risk it and keep going to Evansville?' And I'm like, 'I don't know!'" Zachary Pruitt said. "So I just kept driving, and we didn't make it, but a mile past that bridge and she was ready."

They hit a red light stopping traffic for a construction zone. Christina Pruitt said she couldn't go any further. Zachary Pruitt called 911, and the dispatcher talked him through what to do."I didn't know what I was doing. I was just trusting in the good Lord to help me, and He did," Zachary Pruitt said. "She's perfect. No problem. She's beautiful, a full head of hair."

In addition to a new baby, Prevts said he also walked away with a new friend. The Spencer County dispatcher who helped them has since visited, and he says he's sure they'll be lifelong friends. He said he shared some special moments, including hearing Brian Lane cry for the first time during the call.

"When someone is in a situation like that with you, it creates a bond that can't be broken," Zachary Pruitt said.Despite the chaos of the birth, she said everything is going well now, and it's given her confidence for next time.

"I know I will definitely try and have a home birth next time," Zachary Pruitt said. "I already feel like a pro."

"I think we can handle it," Christina Pruitt said.
Pruitt's family said they were going to be inducted on Monday, with the only problem, they said, being that Brian Lane decided to choose his own birthday.

Christina Pruitt said she realized her daughter Brianne Lynn was coming Sunday morning, so she and her husband, Zachary, packed everything they needed and left their home in Ohio County. Headed to Evansville. Once they hit Owensboro, they had to make a decision.Prewitts said her experience has put her in a unique position: She says most people can't easily go back to the hospital rooms where they had their babies, but one day she saw Brian Lane doing exactly that. Will be able to show where she was born.

People on TikTok are living for one guy who compared a screaming child on a plane to R2D2: 'Ain't no way that's coming from a human baby'

A man is making TikTok buzz with his video of a baby screaming on a plane.

The man complained that the baby's cry sounded like R2D2, "Star Wars."

Others wondered how it was possible for a human baby to make such sounds.A viral video of a man having a bad time on a flight with a screaming baby is giving TikTok plenty of fun.

A TikTok user using the handle bhrino0 posted the video online on August 4. During the 10-second clip in the plane's cabin, a child can be heard screaming loudly in the background.

The TikTok user added an explanatory caption to his video expressing his displeasure at the outcry, comparing the child to "Star Wars" droid R2D2.

The TikTok clip was also titled: "Gremlin."

It's not clear which airline the man was flying on, but he appears to be sitting in a window seat. He tagged the location of the video as New York's LaGuardia Airport. The video, at press time, has been liked more than 418,000 times. And people are lighting up the comments section wondering how a human baby could make such sounds.

"There's no way, coming from a human baby, she's sounding like a cat in heat," commented Marissa, a tweeter.

"French Bulldog?" A TikTok user with the ID Desolate87 commented.

Others compared the child to Ger, a robot character from the cartoon "Invader Zim," zombies from video games, the Smurfs, and more. The TikTok user also got a lot of sympathy from people.

One commenter wrote, "On my plane today it felt like the devil was summoned from the pits of hell."

Another TikToker commented.

And perhaps one TikToker summed it up best with his three-word comment: "Oh hell no."

Stories of screaming babies have divided the internet. In October, a TikToker faced a backlash from parents after he complained about a screaming child on his "29-hour flight" to Berlin. And in April, a man was reprimanded — plus a fair share of sympathy — for losing his temper and going on a rampage over a crying baby. The presence of screaming children has prompted many airlines to create child-free zones on their flights. Scoot, a Singapore-based budget airline, launched Scoot-in-Silence cabins in 2013.

AirAsia X, the long-haul division of Malaysian carrier AirAsia, also has a quiet zone on its Airbus A330-300 flights.
